[CA-Fullerton area] English Ministry Pastor - OpenDoor Church of Orange County

OpenDoor Church of Orange County - We are a growing church with supportive families of faith!

We are looking for a pastor for our English Ministry who can love and nurture our young members.
Our church is located in Placentia, California (nearby Fullerton, Anaheim, and Yorba Linda).

 

Role

• Love and disciple the English speaking young members
  We have a small group from youth to young adults.
• Preside over worship and supervise gatherings Preach and work with our worship team on Sunday service, lead small group Bible studies and programs on Sundays and Fridays.

 

Qualification

• A sincere heart for the Lord and for people
  This sounds very basic, but it is truly the most important qualification for us. Even if you lack in other areas, a servant with this kind of genuine heart is what we value the most.
•  A graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited seminary (M.Div or other)
  Degree isn't as important though we would like to know if you are serious about your calling in ministry.
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred We want to hang out all together and fully understand each other's hearts, and being able to understand both languages can help! (Not required to speak Korean proficiently but preferred)

 

Employment Type

• Part-time / half-time
• Compensation - open for conversation (We will do our best)

• Personally, as the current EM pastor, I can say that our church pastor and members are very supportive for the young member's ministry with their whole heart. Even with a smaller group, we have talented and dedicated team members whom the pastor can work with.
