교회 소개
  • 북버지니아 지역(워싱턴 덜러스 공항에서 5분 거리)에 위치한 버지니아 휄로쉽교회에서 풀타임(혹은 파트타임) 유스 목회자를 찾습니다. 저희 교회는 미셔널처치라는 비전을 가지고 선교지향적 교회가 되기 위해 노력하고 있고, 이 비전을 이루기 위해 ‘복음으로 살리고, 말씀으로 양육하고, 성령으로 사역하는 교회’라는 Mission Statement를 갖고 복음, 말씀, 성령 중심의 교회 사역을 추구하고 있습니다.
  • 교회 성도님들은 매우 가족같은 분위기 속에서 신앙 생활을 하고 계시고, 목회자를 위해 존중과 중보기도를 쉬지 않는 마음들을 갖고 계십니다.
  • 교단은 초교파입니다. 
 

본 교회가 기도하고 있는 목회자의 모습은 아래와 같습니다.
  • 청소년 영혼 구원을 사역의 최우선으로 두는 분
  • 목회자와 스텝들과 하나되어 팀웍을 이룰 수 있는 분
  • 목회자 회의, 스텝 회의, 학부모 회의를 위한 한국어가 가능하신 분
  • 신학교 재학중이거나 졸업하신 분
  • 미국 내 취업에 결격 사유가 없으신 분
 

담당하게 될 사역
  • Timothy(유스그룹) Full Time 목회자 (*Part Time으로도 지원하실 수 있습니다.
  • 주일 예배, 주중 사역(오이코스 사역, 성경공부, 제자훈련 등)
  • 약 25~30명의 유스 학생에 대한 목양
  • 수련회와 그 외 교육부 전체 사역의 협력
  • 1~2년 사역 후 교육부 디렉터를 겸하게 됩니다.
 

사역 환경
  • 사례는 인터뷰 전 알려드립니다.
  • 사역 범위를 고려하여 Ministry Expense를 제공합니다. (Ministry Expense: 도서 지원, 컨퍼런스 참석, 심방 비용 등)
  • Sick day와 유급휴가(Paid Time Off)

About the church
We are a non-denominational church located in Northern Virginia (5 minutes from Washington Dulles Airport).  Our vision is to be a missional church and our mission statement is to ‘restore with the gospel, train with the word, and do ministry by the Holy Spirit.’ We are looking for a full-time (or part-time) youth pastor who will be the next shepherd of our youth students. Ideal candidate
  • Someone who prioritizes and is passionate about youth ministry and eager to seek the lost.  
  • Someone who is in the reformed tradition.
  • Someone who is a team player.
  • Someone who can speak conversational Korean. 
  • Someone who graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited seminary. 
  • Someone who is eligible to work in the US.
 

Responsibilities 
  • Provide pastoral care to our youth students (25-30 students) 
  • Lead Sunday Worship
  • Lead Friday Night events (small group, bible study, discipleship, activity nights, etc.) 
  • Plan and lead summer/ winter retreats, missions trips, service projects, etc.
  • Help out with the overall goal of the Education Ministry.
  • After 1-2 years, this position may turn in to the Director/Pastor of Education
 

Compensation/ Benefits
  • Annual salary commensurate with experience 
  • Ministry allowance: books, conference, and visitations
  • Paid vacation
  • Salary/Benefits will be shared with those who move onto the interview round.
